The Housekeeper position within the environmental services team plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the residents of Waterford Grand and other Cascade Living communities. This position is considered full-time with workdays from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and requires availability on holidays and occasionally on weekends. The hourly wage ranges from $15.05 to $17.05, varying with experience.
In the role of Housekeeper, your responsibilities will revolve around maintaining cleanliness in assigned resident apartments and common areas. This includes dusting, dry and wet mopping, sanitizing, scrubbing, and washing laundry with folding and distributing clean linens and towels. Housekeepers are expected to demonstrate strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities. They contribute significantly to the quality of life for residents by maintaining consistent cleanliness standards and actively participating as dependable team members. Job Requirements
- Availability to work full time Monday through Friday
- Willingness to work holidays and some weekends
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and scrubbing
- Basic literacy and communication skills
- Commitment to uphold Cascade Living Group's mission and values
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services is advantageous but not required

Job Duties

- Makes significant contributions to the quality of life of residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency in cleaning
- Actively participates as a member of the environmental services team and works towards team goals

- Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in all assigned areas
