The Housekeeper position at Carlton Senior Living is a vital role ensuring that the community remains clean, safe, and comfortable for all residents and staff. This is a full-time role with a set schedule from Thursday to Monday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The pay range is competitive, starting at $17.50 and going up to $18.50 per hour. The Housekeeper will be responsible for various housekeeping tasks, including making beds, cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces. In addition to daily cleaning duties, the role includes managing laundry operations such as washing, drying, folding, and returning resident clothing and linens while maintaining proper sorting and tracking.
Beyond these essential cleaning and laundry responsibilities, the Housekeeper will play a key role in supporting the overall cleanliness of the community. This includes handling trash disposal, organizing supply rooms, and assisting with special cleaning assignments like window washing and floor care. Moreover, the Housekeeper is expected to support safety protocols, emergency plans, and practices aimed at preventing elopement, thus ensuring a safe living environment for the residents.
Importantly, this role requires fostering a warm, collaborative atmosphere that supports positive interactions among residents, families, and fellow team members. While prior housekeeping experience is preferred, it is not mandatory as Carlton is committed to training the right candidate who aligns with their culture of caring and compassion. Candidates must be at least eighteen years old, in compliance with Title 22 requirements. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a fulfilling and supportive setting where their efforts directly contribute to the quality of life of seniors.
