The Housekeeper position at ELS in Bow, Washington, plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the resort to ensure every guest enjoys a five-star experience. This role involves cleaning the resort’s office, clubhouse, public access areas, and models, as well as cabins and rentals, ensuring they meet the company’s high standards. Housekeepers are responsible for a wide range of cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal. Additionally, they manage supplies by keeping inventory and requesting refills when needed, as well as reporting maintenance issues promptly to the Resort Manager or Maintenance Supervisor. The job also includes supporting maintenance staff and assisting with resort-sponsored activities, highlighting the collaborative spirit among team members. Housekeepers engage with guests professionally, address inquiries with patience and positive attitude, and contribute to smooth operational flow by coordinating closely with management. Job Requirements

  • willing and able to work weekends and holidays

  • knowledge of cleaning supplies and products
  • previous housekeeping experience is a plus
  • organizational skills and attention to detail
  • valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Clean the resort office, clubhouse, public access areas and models, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming and removing trash
  • clean cabins and rentals to prepare for new guests
  • keep rentals and common areas clean and maintain them to company standards
  • keep track of cleaning supply inventory and request refills as needed
  • report any maintenance concerns for repairs in common areas, vacant or rental homes to the Resort Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
  • assist the maintenance staff and other staff members as needed
  • assist with cleaning up resort-sponsored guest activities and functions
  • assist Resort Manager in responding to guest inquiries in a timely, professional manner with patience and concern
  • solve guest-related problems and address conflicts with a positive attitude
  • may drive a motorized vehicle to run errands and/or pick up supplies as needed
  • work closely with management and the management staff to maintain open communications and ensure the resort team is integrated and coordinated
  • provide outstanding customer service
