Job Description

Dial is a dedicated senior living community focused on creating a warm, welcoming environment where team members can truly love the way they work. At Dial, employees have the invaluable opportunity to serve and learn from knowledgeable senior residents, forming close-knit connections that transform traditional roles into meaningful relationships. This vibrant community is committed to enhancing the quality of life for every resident, not just by adding years to their lives but enriching those years with joy and comfort. The establishment prides itself on fostering a family-like atmosphere where care, respect, and happiness are at the forefront of its mission. Dial is a full-time employer with a standard work schedule from 8 am to 4 pm, including a rotating weekend duty every fifth weekend, ensuring a balanced work-life harmony for its staff.

The Housekeeper role at Dial plays a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall ambiance of both public areas and individual living units within the facility. This position involves following established cleaning policies and procedures meticulously to ensure that every corner of the community, from common spaces to private apartments, meets high standards of hygiene and presentation. Housekeepers are tasked with routine and deep cleaning duties, including cleaning public restrooms daily, washing windows, spot cleaning, and preparing vacated apartments for new residents. Beyond cleaning, this role requires attentiveness to residents’ needs and safety by promptly reporting any concerns observed during work shifts, as well as handling supply requests and minor equipment issues.

Additionally, the housekeeper contributes to the welcoming and supportive environment by assisting staff with meal service and maintaining a clutter-free, orderly setting. This collaborative participation emphasizes the community-centered culture at Dial, where every task is interconnected and aimed at delivering exceptional service to seniors. Employees in this position are encouraged to attend staff meetings and in-service training to continuously improve their skills and stay informed about best practices.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who values teamwork, is physically capable of performing various cleaning tasks including lifting arms above head to reach high surfaces, and genuinely enjoys working with older adults. The company welcomes individuals with experience in cleaning occupied apartments, hotels, or long-term care facilities, highlighting its focus on professional standards and resident satisfaction. Dial also supports learning and growth, seeking team members who are willing to develop new skills and assist their colleagues. Confidentiality and safety are integral aspects of the role, requiring discretion with sensitive information and adherence to reporting procedures for any work-related injuries or hazards.

In summary, the Housekeeper position at Dial is a full-time opportunity offering a stable daytime schedule, a supportive and friendly work environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of senior residents. This role is perfect for candidates who are detail-oriented, compassionate, and motivated to uphold a pristine living environment that enhances the overall resident experience.
