The role of Housekeeper at WoodSpring Suites offers an exciting opportunity to join a hospitality team where attention to detail and efficiency are highly valued. Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards that exceed guest expectations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are spotless and welcoming. This is a full-time, entry-level position with an hourly rate dependent on experience, starting at approximately $16.00 per hour. This position also grants access to a flexible pay option called DailyPay, allowing employees to access their earnings as needed.

In this role, the housekeeper will perform routine cleaning of guest rooms, preparing them to meet established minute-per-room labor standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, replenishing amenities, and ensuring all public spaces are maintained to the highest standards. In addition to cleaning duties, the housekeeper will assist with laundry tasks and communicate any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly. Strong teamwork is critical, as the role supports overall hotel operations aimed at guest satisfaction and smooth facility management.

Beyond cleaning, housekeepers are also expected to positively engage with guests by informing them of hotel amenities, products, and services, thereby helping to enhance guest experience and contribute to the hotel's revenue through upselling opportunities. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and adherence to all hotel safety and emergency procedures to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff alike.

WoodSpring Suites values employees who are physically capable of performing tasks that require kneeling, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and standing for extended periods. Prior housekeeping experience in hospitality is preferred, but not required, as training is provided for those who demonstrate dedication and reliability.

Job Duties

  • Perform routine guest room preps and cleanings while meeting minute per room labor standards and maintaining public areas
  • Offer hotel amenities, products, and services to accommodate guest needs and increase revenues
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed
  • Communicate any maintenance work orders to maintenance and/or management
  • Know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Perform other duties as assigned
