Verbind Partners is currently seeking a professional, detail-oriented Housekeeper to support a private residence located in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time, live-out role offering long-term stability to an experienced candidate who prides themselves on maintaining a well-run and beautifully presented home. The household values structure, respect, and discretion, and expects a level of professionalism and initiative from its staff. As a Housekeeper, you will serve as a backup to the Executive Housekeeper, providing essential support to both the principals and household team members. Your role will be critical in ensuring continuity and maintaining high standards of service within the residence.

The responsibilities of this Housekeeper extend beyond routine cleaning to encompass museum-quality care for fine furnishings and specialty surfaces such as wood, glass, leather, antiques, artwork, marble, silver, and brass. Maintaining meticulous organization throughout the home is essential, as is the ability to uphold privacy and security protocols when escorting contractors and vendors. The Housekeeper will also assist with special events, including setup and post-event housekeeping, and support administrative functions such as inventory management. Collaboration and flexibility within the household team are vital, as the position requires readiness to step in wherever needed to ensure smooth operation.

This role offers a structured Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a competitive hourly rate ranging between $40 and $45. The compensation package includes full benefits such as paid time off, sick leave, overtime and holiday pay, health insurance support, and 401(k) contributions. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United States, as sponsorship is not available. Flexibility for occasional domestic travel is also expected. Job Requirements

  • 6 plus years experience in a formal private household or luxury estate
  • Proficiency with high-grade surfaces
  • Knowledge of general office procedures, administrative support, and smartphone/computer proficiency
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Flexible and adaptable, with occasional domestic travel required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years experience in a formal private household or luxury estate
  • Proficiency with high-grade surfaces including wood, glass, leather, antiques, and artwork
  • Strong knowledge of general office procedures and administrative support
  • Proficiency with smartphone and computer technology
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Job Duties
