The position of Housekeeper at Sevahos is integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation in their hotel properties. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and washing walls, windows, and mirrors in designated areas of the hotel. In guest rooms, the housekeeper ensures that linens are replaced, amenities are replenished, and beds are made according to established hotel standards. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail, as well as the ability to interact courteously and efficiently with guests and other departments. Housekeepers play a crucial role in upholding the guest experience by ensuring a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment.
This full-time position requires the ability to reach all areas of the hotel and assist clients as needed, with some occasional lifting and carrying of heavy items. The role demands availability to work on weekends and holidays, as these are critical times for hotel operations. Employees in this role must be comfortable working with household chemicals and adhere to all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the housekeeper will not have subordinates but will collaborate closely with the housekeeping team to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
In addition to physical tasks, housekeepers are expected to demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor, follow company policies, and maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary information. Job Requirements
- Must be able to reach all areas of hotel to assist clients
- Occasional carrying and lifting of heavy items

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area
- Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
- Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
- Make beds and fold terry
- Clean bathrooms
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
- Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order
- Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- Vacuum carpets in guest rooms and hallway
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications

- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
