Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
strong attention to detail
good communication skills
ability to follow established procedures
teamwork and cooperation

knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
ability to follow instructions and work independently

physical ability to perform cleaning duties
reliability and punctuality

Job Duties

Change bed linen daily
vacuum carpeting
dust all furniture including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers
remove fingerprints and smudges on mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows
thoroughly clean the bathroom area including shower stall, sink, floor, toilet
ensure compliance with standard room set-up
report all damage found in a room
report all missing items in room
report personal guest items found in vacant rooms
notify Executive Housekeeper of rollaways or cribs in rooms for pick-up and storage
take responsibility for pass key and ensure daily return
turn in all lost and found items to Executive Housekeeper
report to Executive Housekeeper regarding no luggage, no service needed, sleep outs, extra guests, or anything unusual
shut off all lights, TVs, and air conditioners when leaving room
assist housekeeper with additional cleaning chores
perform all duties not specifically outlined that are part of the position
execute any requests made by corporate or supervisor in a cooperative and expeditious manner
