Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work
Some knowledge of cleaning procedures
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work
Must be able to move 40 lbs with or without accommodation

Job Duties

Perform sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, disinfecting and vacuuming
Refill tissue and soap dispensers with appropriate products
Maintain clean and orderly working areas
Follow instructions to perform cleaning tasks effectively
Handle medium to heavy physical work as required
Report any maintenance or safety issues observed
Support the overall cleanliness standards of the Carolina Union
