Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community and individual resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning entryways, common areas, dining rooms, hallways, patios, and apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed and check heat system filters
- Change beds and linens and ensure adequate linen supplies in each apartment
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments and common areas focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying in laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests at tables, serve beverages, cereals, soups, salads, meals, and desserts
- Review menu with residents, take orders clearly and courteously
- Return carts to kitchen and assist with storage of perishable items
- Deliver trays to resident rooms when needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals and reset tables following sanitizing procedures
- Complete side work such as filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning coffee makers
- Perform other duties as assigned
