Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior housekeeping or related experience preferred
Ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines
Effective communication skills in English
Ability to manage time efficiently
Capacity to perform physical duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
Strong organization and time management skills
Basic computer skills

Job Duties

Provide general housekeeping for community and resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryways and common areas
Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change beds and linens in resident apartments
Conduct deep cleaning of apartments focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
Launder all linens using provided laundry facilities
Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
Greet residents and guests with a smile to serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads
Take resident orders, serve meals and desserts, assist with storage of perishable items
Bus and clear dishes, sanitize tables and chairs, vacuum carpets in dining areas
Complete side work tasks such as filling sugar holders and cleaning coffeemaker
Perform other duties as assigned
