Job Duties

  • Perform daily housekeeping maintenance in all areas per the standard cleaning procedure
  • service bathroom fixtures with proper germicidal cleaners and replenish paper supplies
  • maintain departmental equipment and report malfunctions
  • communicate politely and caring with residents and families
  • perform complete cleaning of vacant rooms for new admissions
  • attend mandatory in-services
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee
  • assist with laundry as needed for the units
  • submit maintenance work orders for repairs or corrections
  • defrost and clean refrigerator/freezers when required
  • promptly report injuries, cuts, and illnesses to supervisor
  • adhere to trauma informed care principles and CARE model in interactions
