Job Duties
- Perform daily housekeeping maintenance in all areas per the standard cleaning procedure
- service bathroom fixtures with proper germicidal cleaners and replenish paper supplies
- maintain departmental equipment and report malfunctions
- communicate politely and caring with residents and families
- perform complete cleaning of vacant rooms for new admissions
- attend mandatory in-services
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee
- assist with laundry as needed for the units
- submit maintenance work orders for repairs or corrections
- defrost and clean refrigerator/freezers when required
- promptly report injuries, cuts, and illnesses to supervisor
- adhere to trauma informed care principles and CARE model in interactions
