Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
strong attention to detail
ability to work independently and as part of a team
good communication skills
ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications

Ability to work non-traditional schedule as required by facility needs
have legible handwriting
ability to do simple mathematics
ability to perform duties outlined above within reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, polishes, buffers, etc
complete daily housekeeping task list as assigned by supervisor
ensure proper trash and item disposal after each shift
keep storage areas clean and organized
inform Residential Administrator of needed supplies
inform staff of needed facility repairs to be assigned to maintenance
work with staff and outside contractors in a respectful and courteous manner
maintain resident and staff confidentiality at all times
maintain records in keeping with agency, county, and state guidelines
other duties as assigned
