Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand continuously
- must be able to perform work both inside and outside
- sit infrequently
- able to lift and carry frequently 11-50 pounds and constantly 0-10 pounds
- able to push frequently 11-50 pounds and constantly 0-10 pounds
- must be able to climb stairs frequently with elevator as an alternate resource
- must be able to bend, squat, twist or rotate frequently
- able to reach frequently, occasionally reach overhead and below waist with manipulation of weights
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- general knowledge of housekeeping
- ability to use all required equipment
- must have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and time management
- ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and vendors
- must work well within a team as well as independently
- ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
- performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned
Job Duties
- Supports the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting the company culture and vision
- cleans and maintains assigned areas including public areas and resident rooms
- cleans restrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartments and common areas
- vacuums carpeted areas and mops tile floors
- spot cleans walls and windows
- dusts furniture and empties trashcans
- cleans baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents
- assists with activity room set-ups, which could require movement of furniture
- attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, annual training through designated Learning Management System (LMS)
- other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents
