Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to work well under stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Effective at listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns
  • Clear communication skills
  • Desire to serve all guests
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time and clock out as scheduled
  • Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use the guests' names whenever possible to ensure a proper welcome
  • Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all hotel groups and events
  • Use relevant technology for the role
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly service using approved greetings
  • Keep all areas clean and well-organized
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests with hospitality while cleaning
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and tools
  • Attend morning stand-up meetings
  • Assist with linen handling in laundry room
  • Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms
  • Perform additional cleaning projects as directed in storage rooms, public spaces, and guest laundry
  • Accurately complete operational checklists every shift
  • Submit timely and precise shift handover reports
  • Adhere to uniform and grooming standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
  • Collaborate effectively with all team members to maintain a welcoming environment
