Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and bending
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Commitment to following health and safety guidelines
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Effective English communication with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain up to four orders simultaneously
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for the community and individual resident apartments including vacuuming and dusting
- Clean main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
- Change beds and linens, launder all linens using provided laundry facilities
- Defrost refrigerators as needed and check heat system filters
- Empty waste baskets and maintain linen supplies in each apartment
- Greet residents and guests while serving beverages and meals courteously
- Take meal orders, serve meals and desserts, and assist with tray delivery
- Bus and clear dishes, reset tables following proper sanitizing procedures
- Complete side work such as filling sugar holders and cleaning coffeemaker
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
