Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
ability to communicate clearly and courteously
adherence to safety and sanitation standards
availability to work full-time hours
prior food handling experience is a plus

Job Qualifications

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
general knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
ability to retain orders up to four at one time
strong organization and time management skills
basic computer skills

Job Duties

Provide general housekeeping for both the community and individual resident apartments, clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, change bed and linens and ensure adequate linen supplies in each apartment, provide deep cleaning of apartments paying special attention to carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures, launder all linens by washing and drying, follow company sanitation and safety procedures, greet residents and guests with a smile to serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
