Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders and access various property areas
- Ability to push or pull items and reach overhead
- Ability to bend, stoop or kneel
- Dexterity of hands and fingers and ability to grasp tools
- Ability to see to perform inspections and read computer screens
- Ability to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- Ability to lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, sometimes heavier with assistance
- Ability to operate computer and office equipment
- Willingness to work outdoors and in potentially hazardous areas
- Full-time availability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Ability to operate office equipment including computer, keyboard, and mouse
- Ability to follow safety protocols and perform physical tasks
Job Duties
- Perform regular custodial duties around the property and maintain the common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash
- Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager which may include picking up trash, cleaning dumpster areas, trash rooms and trash chutes, blowing the parking area and sidewalks, removing debris, power washing
- Thoroughly clean breezeways by removing cobwebs, bugs in lights, mopping floors, power washing, and wiping down doors and handrails
- Collaborate effectively with maintenance team members, other departments, and external contractors to ensure seamless property maintenance, fostering teamwork and cooperation
- Assess property safety and cleanliness standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing resident well-being
- Keep property in top-notch condition by maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, delivering notices to apartments and performing tasks like interior and exterior painting
