Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • prior custodial, housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not necessary
  • willing to conform to hotel dress and grooming standards
  • able to lift or move items up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • able to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
  • full-time availability including weekends and holidays
  • legally eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to function well in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Make up guest rooms and prepare them for new guests daily
  • change bed linens and replace towels and facecloths
  • restock toilet tissue and complimentary toiletries
  • clean rooms and bathrooms as required
  • replenish minibar refreshments
  • collect, sort, load and unload linens for laundry
  • iron, fold, store and deliver clean linens
  • engage with guests politely and provide assistance or directions
  • maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment in guest areas
