Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous housekeeping experience preferred
Ability to lift and move household items and cleaning equipment
Willingness to work as part of a team in a community setting
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to follow detailed instructions and sanitation guidelines
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
Effective communication in English with employees and residents
General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
Ability to retain multiple orders at once
Strong organization and time management skills
Basic computer skills

Job Duties

Provide general housekeeping for both the community and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning entryways, common areas, dining rooms, hallways, patios, and apartments
Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, check heat system filters, change bed linens, turn mattresses with assistance, and empty waste baskets in resident apartments
Perform deep cleaning of apartments focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
Launder linens using provided laundry facilities
Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
Greet residents and guests with a smile and serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from a cart
Take resident meal orders, serve meals and desserts, return carts to the kitchen, assist with storage, deliver trays to rooms if needed
Bus and clear dishes after meals, sanitize tables and chairs, vacuum carpets, and complete side work such as filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning coffeemakers
Perform other duties as assigned
