Job Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • Must meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
  • Must adhere to strict alcohol consumption policies
  • Must comply with grooming standards limiting visible tattoos and piercings
  • Must be able to perform safety and emergency functions
  • This is a temporary position not to exceed 28 weeks
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age

Job Duties

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
  • Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
  • Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to service standards
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
  • Carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
  • Collecting and disposing of trash
  • Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to all housekeeping requests efficiently
  • Supporting special events such as greeting guests at embarkation, afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties
