Job Requirements
- available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
- reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- lift, carry, push, pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
- position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or custodial experience is an advantage
- ability to follow established cleaning standards and procedures
- strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently
- good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs
Job Duties
- clean the entirety of villas including kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms according to standards
- complete assigned rooms and tasks within the scheduled shift
- replace all guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items according to standards
- report room status to the main linen room, housekeeping manager/supervisor, or front desk
- fill the housekeeping cart/caddy with all necessary supplies/chemicals, transport the cart/caddy to the rooms, and return the cart to the designated area at the end of the shift
- follow all company policies and procedures
- report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, and/or accidents
