Job Requirements

  • Willing and able to work minimum 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • Moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
  • Pre-employment drug test clearance including Marijuana and other controlled substances
  • No alcohol consumption during employment
  • Compliance with grooming standards related to tattoos and piercings
  • Temporary employment not to extend beyond 28 weeks
  • Emergency and safety training completion

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Strong foundation for a career in hospitality
  • Ability to create genuine guest relationships
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to follow company grooming and safety standards
  • Positive attitude and composure under pressure

Job Duties

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
  • Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
  • Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to company service standards
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
  • Carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
  • Collecting and disposing of trash
  • Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner
  • Assisting with greeting guests upon embarkation and helping during special events including afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
