Job Requirements
- Willing and able to work minimum 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
- Pre-employment drug test clearance including Marijuana and other controlled substances
- No alcohol consumption during employment
- Compliance with grooming standards related to tattoos and piercings
- Temporary employment not to extend beyond 28 weeks
- Emergency and safety training completion
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Strong foundation for a career in hospitality
- Ability to create genuine guest relationships
- Previous hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to follow company grooming and safety standards
- Positive attitude and composure under pressure
Job Duties
- Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
- Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to company service standards
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- Carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- Creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner
- Assisting with greeting guests upon embarkation and helping during special events including afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
