Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing including Marijuana and controlled substances
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks and sustain extended activity
- Flexibility to work long shifts and seven days per week
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the country
- Willingness to comply with company grooming and conduct standards
- Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willingness and ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Adherence to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Commitment to safety and emergency procedures
- No use of alcohol during work periods
Job Duties
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
- Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- Acknowledge guests by name and respond kindly to housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment and notify managers of maintenance needs
- Collect and dispose of trash
- Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- Create genuine relationships with guests and efficiently handle housekeeping requests
- Assist with greeting guests upon embarkation and support special events such as afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
