Job Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Flexible scheduling availability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior experience in housekeeping preferred but not required

  • Effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary

Job Duties

  • Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and rearranging the room after guests check out
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for according to brand and IHM standards
  • Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, and/or disturbances
  • Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas
  • Report maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines at all times
