Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting and standing for extended periods
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- ability to operate mechanized cleaning equipment
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- good communication skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles
- ability to use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
- good physical stamina and attention to detail
- knowledge of cleaning methods and hygiene standards

Job Duties
- Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors
- vacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dust and polish furniture and fittings
- clean metal fixtures and fittings
- empty and clean trash containers
- dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
- clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipe down glass surfaces
- tidy up rooms
- wash windows as scheduled
- operate mechanized cleaning equipment
- maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
- monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements
- other duties assigned by Chief of Maintenance, Assistant General Manager or General Manager
