Job Requirements
- must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for 28 weeks
- able to meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
- able to pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
- willing to comply with grooming standards and safety regulations
- able to perform emergency and safety duties
- must abstain from alcohol consumption during employment
Job Qualifications
- must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- successful individuals work well under pressure, keep composure and have a positive attitude
- able to comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- able to pass pre-employment drug testing including for marijuana and other controlled substances
- able to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operations
Job Duties
- responsible for creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
- prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to service standards
- vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
- collecting and disposing of trash
- properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner
- performing greeting duties upon embarkation and assisting during special events such as afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties
