Job Requirements

  • must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for 28 weeks
  • able to meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
  • able to pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
  • willing to comply with grooming standards and safety regulations
  • able to perform emergency and safety duties
  • must abstain from alcohol consumption during employment

Job Qualifications

  • must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • successful individuals work well under pressure, keep composure and have a positive attitude
  • able to comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • able to pass pre-employment drug testing including for marijuana and other controlled substances
  • able to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operations

Job Duties

  • responsible for creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
  • prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
  • acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to service standards
  • vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
  • carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
  • collecting and disposing of trash
  • properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner
  • performing greeting duties upon embarkation and assisting during special events such as afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties
