Job Requirements

  • must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, for 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • able to pass a pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
  • able to abstain from alcohol consumption while onboard
  • willing to adhere to emergency and safety training and functions
  • willing to comply with company grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings

Job Duties

  • responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
  • prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
  • acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to service standards
  • vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
  • carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
  • collecting and disposing of trash
