Job Requirements

Age 18 or over or proper work permit and documentation
Background clearances per government regulations
Completed health screening with negative TB test within 6 months or 7 days of employment
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting over 40 pounds
Ability to use standard cleaning equipment
Ability to follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment
Flexibility to work on-call hours Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4pm

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations
Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Strong commitment to safety and cleanliness
Excellent customer service skills
Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Job Duties

Clean resident apartments, common areas, and offices including furnishings, fixtures, floors, carpets, walls, and ceilings
Set up and remove appropriate caution/safety signs to prevent slips/falls or other risks
Report health, safety, sanitation concerns, and repair needs to supervisors
Follow established cleaning and work schedules
Monitor and remove trash throughout the community
Maintain hazard-free work areas and properly store equipment
Use appropriate safety and protective gear when handling hazardous materials
Follow procedures for storing, using, and disposing of cleaning chemicals and waste
Lock and control housekeeping supplies and carts to prevent unauthorized access
Adhere to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and labeling policies
Maintain a positive and professional image representing MBK Senior Living principles
Promote teamwork through open communication with coworkers and other departments
Display tact and friendliness when interacting with residents, families, and guests
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
