Job Requirements
- high school diploma or g e d equivalent
- less than one year related work experience
- ability to move lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand sit or walk for extended periods
- willingness to follow safety protocols and company policies
- no supervisory experience required
- completion of safety training and certifications

Job Duties
- perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms meeting rooms and or public spaces as required including flipping inspecting mattresses box springs and assembling bed frames
- vacuum behind and underneath furniture
- spot clean carpets and upholstery
- dust
- perform touch-up painting and touch-up furniture repairs
- ensure all necessary hardware and appliances are present and in working order
- replace light fixtures
- inspect and repair grout and caulking
- perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats changing light bulbs and patching holes in walls
- perform general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces to include tub wall tile hard floors walls windows and mirrors
- report any serious maintenance problems unusual findings or safety hazards immediately to the manager or supervisor
- follow all company safety and security policies and procedures and complete safety training and certifications
- welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guests service needs
