This position is with a healthcare facility dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Day-to-day duties include sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets, dusting furniture, woodwork, and equipment, polishing and cleaning fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms, and cleaning fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, restrooms, and other areas. The role also involves stocking supplies in restrooms, removing solid linens, trash, and bio-hazard materials from collection areas, and notifying supervisors regarding needed repairs or supply orders. Additionally, the employee assists in laundry tech linen handler functions and utility tech functions as needed, participates in educational programs, in-services, and attends meetings as required.
