Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
  • Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Good physical health and stamina
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals and ability to use them safely
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting vacuuming mopping and polishing surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms kitchens and other common areas thoroughly
  • Change bed linens and towels and ensure all guest rooms are well-stocked with supplies
  • Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
  • Assist with laundry duties including washing folding and organizing linens and clothing
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures especially regarding health and safety
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed
  • Collaborate with other team members to promote a positive working environment
