Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Good physical health and stamina
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals and ability to use them safely
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending lifting and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting vacuuming mopping and polishing surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms kitchens and other common areas thoroughly
- Change bed linens and towels and ensure all guest rooms are well-stocked with supplies
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
- Assist with laundry duties including washing folding and organizing linens and clothing
- Adhere to company policies and procedures especially regarding health and safety
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to promote a positive working environment
