Job Requirements

Ability to perform light cleaning duties in a hospital environment
Willingness to work full-time or part-time schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
Must comply with all health and safety regulations
Must be able to provide satisfactory performance with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Ability to provide quality customer service with attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
Cleans metal fixtures and fittings
Empties and cleans trash containers
Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
Wipes down glass surfaces
Makes up beds and changes linens as required
Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
Responds to guest queries and requests
Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses
Contributes to team efforts
exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
Performs other duties as assigned
