Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience, especially in a healthcare or hospitality setting, is an asset
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic understanding of infection control principles is desirable
Good communication skills and a positive attitude

Job Duties

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms and common areas
Ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to infection control protocols
Perform floor care and maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
Restock supplies and amenities in resident rooms and public areas
Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the appropriate department
Support the facility’s hospitality standards by providing courteous and responsive service
Collaborate with medical and rehabilitation staff to uphold a safe and hygienic environment
