Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • good physical stamina and ability to perform physical labor
  • attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • maintains cleanliness of all bathroom and shower areas including disinfecting sinks, toilets, urinals, telephones and floors
  • polishes all brass, empties all waste containers and restocks amenities when needed
  • maintains all member areas throughout the property including vacuuming and cleaning carpeting, cleaning mirrors, windows and walls, dusting furniture, doors and baseboards and light fixtures, polishing brass and floors, and emptying waste baskets
  • cleans administrative offices and all non-member areas including dusting and polishing counters, cabinets, desks and file cabinets and washing window sills and blinds
  • performs errands as needed including towel pick-up and delivery and trash pick-up and disposal
  • responsible for pressure washing kitchen floor weekly and outside areas including sidewalks, course bathrooms and shelters when possible
  • performs other duties as required by supervisor, assistant club manager and general manager
