Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks from detailed written instructions
attention to detail of work routine required
prolonged periods of standing walking or sitting while on duty
lifting pushing and pulling up to 10-15 pounds with or without assistance
visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterity essential to performing designated duties
ability to perform effectively in a stressful and fast paced environment
ability to pass all required health and other screening tests
willingness to wear personal protective equipment and follow universal precautions

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

ability to stand walk or sit for prolonged periods
ability to lift push and pull up to 10-15 pounds
visual auditory acuity and manual dexterity essential

Job Duties

Sweeps mops and polishes floors
vacuums and spot cleans carpets
dusts furniture woodwork equipment and dust mops floors
polishes and cleans fixtures in utility room and bathrooms
cleans fixtures equipment windows walls rest rooms
stocks supplies in rest rooms as needed
removes solid linens trash bio-hazard from collection areas
notifies supervisor regarding needed repairs
submits supply order sheets on a weekly basis
gathers and disposes trash and waste materials
assists and performs Laundry Tech Linen Handler functions as needed
assists and performs Utility Tech functions as needed
participates in educational programs and in-services
attends meetings as required
