Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to stand, walk, handle objects, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms
  • ability to occasionally climb or balance
  • ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and sometimes up to 25 pounds
  • physical stamina to clean several rooms or areas per shift

  • pleasant and upbeat personality during guest interactions
  • comfortable responding to guest needs and requests

Job Duties

  • cleaning and resetting guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas
  • changing linens
  • making beds
  • conducting turndown service in the evenings
  • organizing collateral on tables
  • straightening furniture
  • cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming rooms and public areas
  • emptying trash
  • stocking satellite closets
  • providing and retrieving linen supplies
  • being courteous and helpful to hotel guests
  • reporting guest requests or preferences
  • completing assigned tasks in a timely manner
