Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- CPR or BLS certificate preferred
- Ability to stand, move, communicate, and identify written information
- Ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in internet browsers, Microsoft Office programs, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and HR related systems if applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- CPR or BLS certificate preferred
- Proficiency in internet browsers such as Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and HR related systems if applicable
Job Duties
- Performing thorough cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal
- Performing cleaning duties to a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the community
- Collecting and laundering soiled linens in accordance with policies and regulations designed to protect the health and hygiene of our residents and team members
- Folding, sorting, and distributing clean laundry
- Reporting supply and equipment needs to Supervisor and restock/replenish supplies as needed
- Working in coordination with maintenance - reporting any necessary repairs noticed during the workday
- Ensuring effective communication with residents’ families concerning residents’ care, encompassing their physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing
