We are currently seeking a Full-Time Seasonal House Person to join our dedicated team. This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel’s guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, elevators, and public vending areas, ensuring that guests enjoy a clean and inviting environment throughout their stay. The House Person plays a vital supportive role, assisting Room Attendants and other housekeeping staff with various tasks, including the management and distribution of linens and terry products. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently perform a variety of cleaning duties, maintain inventory, and support laundering operations.
The House Person’s responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping public areas to maintain cleanliness standards; delivering essential guest items such as refrigerators, microwaves, and ironing boards upon request; and ensuring the upkeep of linen and supply closets. This role also involves operating laundry machinery to clean various household items according to specific standards, inspecting laundered merchandise for serviceability and cleanliness, and promptly replenishing linens on the guest floors. Candidates for this role should be able to manage multiple tasks effectively, work well in a fast-paced environment, and interact positively with team members and guests alike.
The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic, along with good communication skills and the ability to maintain a safe working environment. Physical stamina is essential as the job requires walking and standing for extended periods and the ability to lift weights between 30 and 50 pounds regularly. Prior experience in hotel cleaning or related housekeeping tasks is preferred but not mandatory. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- deliver refrigerators,microwaves,ironing boards,pack and plays,amenities to guest rooms upon request
- vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, stairwells, ice machine areas, foyers, service landings and linen closets including baseboards
- stock supplies in the appropriate areas to keep stock levels at standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of linen closets, supply closets, and laundry rooms
- remove dust, debris and foreign particles from upholstered furniture including crevices and under cushions
- thoroughly clean windows, frames and ledges as assigned
- assist room attendants in hanging guest room window draperies and sheers
- load and run washers and dryers to specific standards per article being processed
- examine laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability
- count and assemble laundered items on carts or linen trucks, record amounts to fill requisitions and transport carts to floors and linen closets
- pick up linens in a timely manner
