As a trusted name in the field of developmental disabilities, Chimes is known for its compassionate approach and high standards of care.
The current opportunity at Chimes is for a dedicated Residential Home Supervisor. This role is critical to maintaining the high quality of residential care that Chimes prides itself on. The Residential Home Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of residential homes, ensuring that all activities and services comply with agency standards. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 am to 4 pm, and includes on-call responsibilities. The salary for this role is set at $52,000 annually, reflecting the importance of the position within the organization. The Residential Home Supervisor will also manage medication and service records, conducting audits and addressing any errors promptly. Financial management duties such as budgeting, overseeing petty cash, and maintaining supplies are key aspects of the role.
In addition to these responsibilities, the supervisor will coordinate staff training, participate in individual program planning (IP planning), and ensure that residents have access to quality activities that promote their well-being. Managing emergency situations effectively, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards for both the home and vehicles, and supporting residents with transportation and household needs are vital components of this role.

This position is ideal for someone with at least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a group residence, along with supervisory experience. A high school diploma is required, with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human services preferred. A valid driver’s license and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are also necessary for successful performance in this role.
Working at Chimes offers a meaningful career path with a supportive team environment and a range of benefits for full-time employees, including competitive pay, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, life and disability insurance, and recognition and referral bonuses.
