Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial position
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to assist with basic maintenance duties
- Attention to detail and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
- Team player with positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts
- Run laundry and empty housekeepers' trash
- Clean lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice and vending machines
- Maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, exterior of guest room doors
- Shampoo carpets as assigned
- Turn mattresses as assigned
- Clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned
- Report any missing or found articles or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Assist maintenance department with basic repairs including plumbing and carpentry
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
