HHM Hotels continues to grow as a leader in hospitality by cultivating a workplace culture that values its employees' growth, innovation, and dedication to quality service.

The House Person role at HHM Hotels is a vital position within the housekeeping team, focusing on maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public hotel areas in accordance with established brand standards and sustainability policies. This role ensures that guests experience a welcoming and spotless environment throughout their stay. A House Person at HHM Hotels is not only responsible for the upkeep of guest corridors, public spaces, and linen logistics but also plays an active role in supporting the overall guest satisfaction efforts by assisting guests courteously and responding to inquiries. Working as a House Person offers a clear growth path toward higher roles like Housekeeping Supervisor, Guest Service Agent, Executive Housekeeper, or Front Office Manager, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a career in hospitality.

In this role, the House Person will be tasked with greeting guests warmly, maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas by vacuuming and dusting, collecting and disposing of trash responsibly, and transporting linens to and from hotel floors and laundry sites. The position requires vigilance in inspecting guest areas and reporting maintenance issues promptly to ensure the hotel remains in optimal condition. Additionally, the House Person supports peak operational times by stepping in as a room attendant when needed, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the housekeeping department.

The job demands adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective safety equipment and compliance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. The House Person also actively participates in the hotel’s sustainability programs, particularly the EarthView initiative, which aims to minimize environmental impact through sustainable cleaning practices and resource management.

Working conditions can be physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching to clean various hotel areas thoroughly. The role may require flexibility in scheduling, including working holidays, weekends, and alternative shifts to meet the operational needs of the hotel. HHM Hotels values employees who embody their core beliefs: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It.
