The Residence Inn Las Vegas, located at 5875 Dean Martin Drive in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a dedicated House Attendant to join their team on an hourly wage basis. This role is essential in maintaining the impeccable cleanliness standards and overall upkeep of the hotel’s public and guest areas. The House Attendant is charged with ensuring that all assigned areas and equipment are properly maintained and cleaned to the high standards expected by the brand. Additionally, the role involves delivering various items directly to guestrooms, such as express checkout envelopes and newspapers, enhancing guest convenience and satisfaction. This position requires a hands-on individual capable of multitasking in a hospitality environment, including duties such as buffing marble floors, shampooing carpets and furniture, responding to luggage assistance requests, and managing lost and found items according to established protocols. The House Attendant also plays a role in emergency preparedness by being knowledgeable of emergency procedures and assisting where necessary. Equipment maintenance and proper storage organization fall within the scope of responsibilities, ensuring that all cleaning implements are in optimal condition and readily accessible. Beyond routine cleaning duties, the House Attendant may be tasked with special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, reinforcing the importance of flexibility and a proactive approach to hotel upkeep.
Moreover, the position places a strong emphasis on guest interaction, requiring a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor to ensure overall guest satisfaction. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital to this role, enabling seamless collaboration across various departments and a positive guest experience throughout the property. Standing for the entirety of the shift is also a requirement, highlighting the physically active nature of this role. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or its equivalent and possess prior experience in a hotel or related field, though a willingness to learn and adapt is equally valued. This opportunity offers individuals who thrive in dynamic, guest-centered environments the chance to contribute meaningfully to one of the hospitality industry’s leading management companies in a vibrant and growing market like Las Vegas.
