BURGER KING is a globally recognized fast food restaurant chain renowned for serving high-quality, great-tasting, and affordable food. Founded in 1954, BURGER KING has established itself as the second largest fast food hamburger chain in the world, earning a reputation as the original HOME OF THE WHOPPER. With a strong commitment to premium ingredients, signature recipes, and providing family-friendly dining experiences, BURGER KING has successfully maintained its standing in the fast food industry for over 50 years. Every day, more than 11 million guests visit BURGER KING restaurants worldwide, drawn by the consistency and quality that the brand delivers. This global reach and brand strength make BURGER KING a leader in the fast food market and a sought-after place for employment opportunities.

The position of Shift Supervisor at BURGER KING is a critical leadership role that focuses on delivering sales and profit results through effective management of profitability, guest satisfaction, people development, and operational efficiency. This full-time role involves supporting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Manager (AM) in overseeing restaurant operations during assigned shifts, driving key performance indicators related to sales, profitability, guest service, and team performance. The Shift Supervisor manages a shift team of Team Members and is responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment. Through coaching, providing feedback, and motivating team members, the Shift Supervisor helps enhance the team's capabilities and improve overall restaurant performance.

Operational responsibilities include setting a strong example by actively working to implement the shift plan, ensuring efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products, maintaining speed-of-service standards, and motivating team members at various workstations. The role also involves reviewing restaurant results to identify successes and areas requiring improvement, as well as ensuring compliance with operational and brand standards. If necessary, the Shift Supervisor will perform Team Member duties to maintain smooth restaurant operations.

In addition to operations and people management, the Shift Supervisor plays a significant role in maintaining profitability. This includes adhering to cash control and security procedures such as safe counting and managing cash drawers, conducting daily and weekly inventory inspections, and efficiently receiving inventory truck orders. The guest experience is also a top priority, with the Shift Supervisor motivating and directing team members to exceed guest expectations through accurate, fast, and friendly service in clean and welcoming surroundings.

Ideal candidates for this role are at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or GED, with some college education preferred. Experience in quick service restaurant management for 1-2 years is highly valued, along with a demonstrated understanding of guest service principles. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential, as is the ability to work long or irregular shifts as needed to ensure the restaurant operates effectively. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their careers in restaurant management while contributing to the success and reputation of a globally recognized brand.
