Job Description
Located at 14916 Cantrell Rd, Little Rock, AR, this establishment is a dynamic fast-food restaurant operating under a well-known chain brand. The focus is on delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service while maintaining efficient and effective restaurant operations. The restaurant is committed to fostering a positive environment for both customers and employees. As part of the operations department, this location emphasizes teamwork, punctuality, and accountability to meet and exceed customer expectations in a fast-paced setting. The hourly manager role is a critical position within the team, serving as the leader during assigned shifts and ensuring smooth operational flow when senior management is absent.
The Hourly Manager position is a non-exempt role reporting directly to the General Manager (GM). This role demands strong leadership and operational abilities to manage the restaurant during shifts, emphasizing team management, customer service excellence, and operational compliance. The Hourly Manager directs the shift team in the accurate and timely preparation and sale of food products, ensuring delivery within established speed-of-service guidelines. Responsibilities include motivating the team to provide friendly, courteous service in a clean and welcoming environment while taking the lead on training and delegating tasks. This role also includes managing cash and inventory controls, adhering to food safety and governmental compliance standards, and addressing customer feedback professionally. By overseeing daily shift operations and encouraging teamwork and accountability, the Hourly Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the restaurant's success.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining order and discipline, supporting compliance with sanitation and security policies, and assisting with short-term solutions when safety or policy violations occur. While certain administrative functions such as ordering products, payroll entry, and performance reviews fall outside this role's scope, the Hourly Manager may assist salaried management during hiring processes and may temporarily send employees home in case of disciplinary issues until formal action from the General Manager is possible. This position offers a career path with opportunities for advancement to higher responsibility roles such as assistant manager or Hourly Manager at a higher volume restaurant, making it an excellent role for those seeking growth within the hospitality industry.
