Job Duties
- execute Social Cantina’s menu with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
- ensure every dish meets standards for quality, freshness, and presentation
- keep a pulse on guest feedback and help identify opportunities to improve
- support hiring efforts and help build a strong, reliable kitchen team
- assist with scheduling to ensure the right coverage for every shift
- train and coach team members on recipes, systems, and food safety
- create a positive, accountable, team-first environment
- assist with inventory counts, ordering, and product organization
- help manage food cost by minimizing waste and following systems
- maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen at all times
- follow and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- ensure proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures
- hold the team accountable to doing things the right way, every time
- lead from the line and jump in wherever needed
- partner with the front-of-house team to keep service smooth and timely
- help solve problems in the moment and keep the team focused and on track
- step in to assist front-of-house operations if a manager isn’t present
