This job opening is for an Assistant Manager position at a restaurant, an establishment committed to delivering excellent customer service and smooth operational efficiency. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in restaurant operations
  • State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance training
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol
  • Must be able to work long hours including weekends and evenings
  • Must be able to perform duties of host, bartender, server or kitchen helper
  • Must report to work on time with a positive attitude
  • Must complete required food handler and responsible vendor training
  • Must have good command of English oral and written communication
  • Ability to operate restaurant and office equipment
  • Must comply with workplace safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience working in a restaurant
  • Experience in customer service industry
  • Completion of ServSafe Food Handler and Responsible Vendor training
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and POS systems
  • Good command of workplace safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Coordinate efforts between front of house and back of house
  • Coach, counsel and discipline employees on performance, service and attendance
  • Ensure outstanding customer service including greeting, acknowledging customers and maintaining service standards
  • Report customer complaints to General Manager and District Manager
  • Maintain merchandising, display and inventory standards
  • Plan and assign daily goals, tasks and assignments and assure completion
  • Manage accounting tasks including fund management, deposits, inventory ordering and payroll
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager
  • Attend required meetings
