Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years working in Hotel Audit or Food and Beverage hospitality industry
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to meet physical demands including walking, sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Capacity to work in an indoor, climate-controlled environment exposed to casino factors such as noise and secondhand smoke
- Must obtain gaming licensure through compliance background checks including credit, criminal, and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- Hotel, Food and Beverage accounting experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and regulatory documents
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Ability to present information effectively to managers and clients
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Knowledge of GAAP principles
- Understanding of Seminole Tribe of Florida regulations
- Experience supervising staff
- Commitment to integrity and ethical conduct
Job Duties
- Assist in supervising and training the Non-Gaming staff
- Oversee reconciliation of all Hotel, Food and Beverage, Group Sales outlet revenues
- Manage response and tracking of chargebacks, balancing hotel ledgers, guest collections, journal entries, and guest assistance
- Reconcile and post Valet charges and other assigned outlets
- Verify accuracy of income recording, analyze operational procedures, and recommend improvements
- Perform daily revenue uploads from POS systems and daily cash reports
- Minimize losses from credit card chargebacks and implement proper procedures
- Balance Guest Ledger, City Ledger, and Advance Deposits to General Ledger daily
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Complete month-end accounting procedures including reports and balance sheets
- Provide departmental support and demonstrate initiative in problem solving
- Assist Revenue Verification Manager in developing audit processes
- Review team performance and coordinate resources
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and STOF regulations
- Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
- Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
