The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is a critical position responsible for providing outstanding hospitality services. This role involves parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a safe and prompt manner, assisting with luggage handling, and supporting guests’ needs throughout their visit. The Guest Service Associate is expected to greet and engage with guests in a friendly, professional way, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from arrival to departure. By expertly handling vehicles, offering directions, assisting with reservations, and providing information about facility amenities and local attractions, this role directly contributes to the positive impressions guests have during their visit.

Towne Park recognizes the importance of competitive and fair compensation. The hourly base pay for the Guest Service Associate ranges from $10 to $11, with additional tips ranging from $13 to $15 per hour. Work schedules are flexible and discussed during the interview process, with weekend availability being recommended. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with American money units
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time
  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle and perform parking maneuvers
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Weekend availability recommended

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance where employed
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds using American money units
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using their last names
  • Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • Practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Opens vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttles guests to approved locations
  • Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issues claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks before issuing keys
  • Completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
