- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively to guests and coworkers
- Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time
- Ability to understand parking rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests as approved
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect checks prior to key issuance
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, damage surveys and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect parking revenue as needed
